The purpose of this 5-day Nonviolent Communication (NVC) training is to strengthen youth
workers’ capacity to respond constructively to the increasing polarization, radical
positioning, and hate speech present in today’s societies, particularly among young people.
Through deep personal reflection, practical skill building, and experiential learning, the
training supports participants in developing the inner clarity, empathy, and communication
skills needed to foster dialogue, transform conflict, and contribute to more inclusive,
resilient youth communities. The training is grounded in the understanding that how we
relate to ourselves shapes how we relate to others, and that sustainable social change
begins with inner awareness, relational skills, and the ability to stay human in situations of
tension and disagreement.
